Sentence: four Kerch students will pay a fine for protesting against the PMC RYODAN movement

The Kerch City Court of the Republic of Crimea brought to administrative responsibility two students of the Kerch Marine Technical College, a student of the Kerch Polytechnic College and a student of the Kerch Medical College for participating in the mass simultaneous stay of citizens in public places, if the massive simultaneous stay of citizens in public places caused a violation of public order.
As established by the court, on March 3, 2023 at 18:10 in the city of Kerch near the «Mithridates Stairs» on the pedestrian zone, including four Kerch students, took part in the mass simultaneous stay of citizens in a public place in order to express their protest against citizens, who consider themselves to be part of the informal movement «PMC RYODAN», which interfered with the movement of pedestrians— noted in the press service of the court.
By a court decision, the students were found guilty of committing an administrative offense under part 1 of article 20.2.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, and they were sentenced to an administrative fine in the form of an administrative fine each in the amount of 10,000 (ten thousand) rubles.
The court ruling has not entered into force.
