Sergei Aksyonov calls on the management of Crimean medical institutions to improve the quality of work with appeals and requests from citizens
The Head of the Republic of Crimea took part in a meeting of the Council of Heads of Medical Organizations under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea. Sergei Aksyonov noted that today the healthcare sector in the republic is systematically developing.
Much is being done both at the level of management and coordination of medical organizations, and by the doctors themselves on the ground. On instructions from the President, we continue to improve the level of material and technical support for hospitals and clinics. In general, since 2014, tremendous changes have occurred in Crimean medicine. However, we cannot stop, we need to achieve the best possible resultssaid the Head of the Republic.
At the same time, Sergei Aksyonov admitted that a significant part of medical institutions still needs material support, including renovation of premises and modernization of equipment.
We continue to work in this area across the republic, building new clinics, first aid stations and medical outpatient clinics, and gradually replacing equipment. Specific problems also require solutions. The authorities should be helped with this by chief physicians, who know better than anyone what exactly their institutions need. I ask each of the managers to voice specific proposals and requests. Only by working as one team can we cope with all challenges– says the Head of Crimea.
At the same time, Sergei Aksenov emphasized the importance of improving the quality of work with patients.
Of course, we are primarily talking about the constant improvement in the quality of medical care, including in terms of providing the population with preferential medications. But I consider working with citizens’ requests and complaints no less important. Each question received must be carefully studied, and the answer given to the applicant as soon as possible. In fact, it often turns out that most problems are subjective, and they can be resolved simply through the personal immersion of the manager— the Head of the Republic expressed his opinion.
In conclusion, Sergei Aksyonov thanked the Crimean doctors for their dedicated work, for their perseverance, professionalism and assistance provided to the participants of the special military operation.
Next, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Crimea, Alexey Natarov, made a report. The meeting participants discussed the results of modernization and material and technical equipment of medical organizations in 2025, and also voiced the current needs of healthcare institutions.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Committee on Health Anna Rubel.
