Sergei Aksyonov presented awards on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the Crimean Spring

The State Council of the Republic of Crimea today held a solemn meeting dedicated to the ninth anniversary of the All-Crimean referendum of 2014 and the reunification of Crimea with Russia. In his speech, the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov recalled the events of 2014 and expressed gratitude to all Crimeans for their active patriotic position, for their civil choice. According to him, it was a single impulse of people.

For 9 years that have passed, what is the main thing today? The main thing is that we have maintained respect for each other, trust in our President, love for our country of Russia, love for our Russian Crimea — this is the main thing that we have achieved. Interethnic peace, harmony, respect between Crimeans of different nationalities, different religions. I want to thank our clergy, all the spiritual leaders present here. You know, what happened consolidated us. If we maintain this consolidation, we will continue to move at the same pace— said Aksyonov.

At the same time, the Head of Crimea drew attention to the daily direct support of the President of Russia.

Without Vladimir Vladimirovich, most of what was done with such speed and efficiency would not have been decided. The help of the federal authorities, the Government of the Russian Federation, the State Duma, the Federation Council, in principle, all the citizens of our country energizes us. We feel responsible for ourselves, we understand that they are looking at us, we understand how we will achieve this. Our energy is transferred to our new fraternal regions as well. We try to provide methodological assistance, as open as possible to everyone. We are ready, friends, to share with you not only joys, but also problems and troubles. I am sure that we will overcome all this.— said Sergey Aksyonov.
