Sergei Aksyonov: the reunification of Crimea with Russia is the common merit of all Crimeans

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The head of the Republic of Crimea performed at a gala concert dedicated to the 9th anniversary of the All-Crimean referendum of 2014 and the reunification of Crimea with Russia, which took place in Simferopol. Sergey Aksyonov congratulated all those present on the holiday and recalled the emotional upsurge of the events of the Crimean spring of 2014.

All participants in the events of that historic spring remember to the last detail what our way home was like. There is no secret why we succeeded. This is the common merit of those who were not afraid to defend our common Crimea. Our President, our Leader, kept everything under personal control. Hero of Russia Oleg Belaventsev also played an important role, making the right decisions in the most difficult situations. Chairman of the State Parliament of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov and all the deputies of the Parliament acted quickly and courageously. But the main participants in those events are Crimeans of all professions and ages, in uniform and in the civil service. We were all filled with the spirit of unity— the press service quotes the Head of Crimea.

Sergey Aksyonov also thanked the military personnel who ensure the safety of the Crimeans and the entire Republic of Crimea. “Endless gratitude to our fighters participating in the special operation today. It is to them that we owe the fact that we can peacefully celebrate the holiday. We are all deeply worried about our guys, we support them,” the Head of the Republic added.

Sergei Aksyonov noted that today, like nine years ago, Crimea is a united front. “We need to be united in order to achieve goals and win. We need to support our President, the Russian Armed Forces and all the decisions that are being made today for the benefit of our country. I’m sure the victory will be ours!» — said the Head of the Crimea.

The event was also attended by the Hero of Russia, Honorary Consul of Nicaragua in the Republic of Crimea Oleg Belaventsev, Senator of the Russian Federation Sergey Tsekov, representatives of departments and law enforcement agencies, employees of the National Guard, members of the families of military personnel, and others.
