Sergei Aksyonov: “Unity is the basis for the existence of a powerful and sovereign Russia”

Unity. Love for the Fatherland. Faith and fidelity. Courage and dedication. These are the main meanings that National Unity Day carries, the main values ​​that it symbolizes.

These meanings and values ​​are eternal. It is they who have united our people for centuries, helping us together to overcome the most difficult trials, defeat enemies, revive and develop Russia.

This has always been the case: in 1612, when the militia of Minin and Pozharsky liberated Moscow from the Polish occupiers, putting an end to the Time of Troubles, and during the Great Patriotic War, when the entire huge country rose up to fight fascism.

This is what happened in 2014, when the Crimeans, united, fought back against Ukrainian Nazism and returned home, and the heroic people of Donbass stood up to defend their freedom and their right to remain Russian.

This was the case in 2022, when, following Crimea, the DPR, LPR, Kherson region, and Zaporozhye region returned to their homeland.

This is still the case today. We are proud of our great, beloved country, we are united in supporting our President and the Armed Forces. Unity is the key to Victory, the basis for the existence of a powerful and sovereign Russia.
