Sergey Aksenov visited the Crimean Republican Oncology Clinical Dispensary

According to the Head of the Republic of Crimea, many positive changes have occurred in the oncology dispensary recently: work is underway to establish direct feedback from citizens, routine repairs of the premises have been carried out, and the installation of modern equipment continues.

Thus, in 2025, more than 50 units of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment were purchased for a healthcare institution, including a brachytherapy device, which made it possible to introduce a new modern method of treating prostate cancer, new to Crimea. A specialized computed tomograph was installed and put into operation, which is used for planning radiation therapy.

In 2026, it is planned to build a modular building on the territory of the medical organization; 200 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes from the republican budget. Funds will also be allocated for the purchase of a linear charged particle accelerator for radiation treatment of patients.

Now we are faced with the task of equipping the oncological dispensary in such a way that Crimeans do not have to go to other regions of the country for help with cancer.noted the Head of the Republic and instructed the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea to prepare a list of required equipment by March 1.

It is necessary to organize work so that people do not have to travel exclusively to Simferopol for therapy and procedures.

After getting acquainted with the work of the oncology clinic, Sergei Aksyonov expressed confidence that the oncology service of Crimea has every opportunity to reach a new level of care.
