Sergey Aksenov visited the Crimean Republican Oncology Clinical Dispensary
The Head of the Republic of Crimea inspected the departments of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Crimean Republican Oncology Clinical Dispensary named after V.M. Efetov» in the city of Simferopol. During the working visit, Sergei Aksyonov also discussed pressing issues with the chief physician of the medical organization, Bekir Seferov, and talked with the workforce and patients.
According to the Head of the Republic of Crimea, many positive changes have occurred in the oncology dispensary recently: work is underway to establish direct feedback from citizens, routine repairs of the premises have been carried out, and the installation of modern equipment continues.
Thus, in 2025, more than 50 units of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment were purchased for a healthcare institution, including a brachytherapy device, which made it possible to introduce a new modern method of treating prostate cancer, new to Crimea. A specialized computed tomograph was installed and put into operation, which is used for planning radiation therapy.
In 2026, it is planned to build a modular building on the territory of the medical organization; 200 million rubles have been allocated for these purposes from the republican budget. Funds will also be allocated for the purchase of a linear charged particle accelerator for radiation treatment of patients.
