Sergey Aksyonov: “Crimean rescuers demonstrate high professionalism and readiness to respond to emergencies”

According to Sergei Aksenov, the profession of a rescuer is one of the most difficult and difficult. “Often associated with a risk to life and health, it requires not only high professionalism, but also such personal qualities as courage, composure, and the ability to quickly make the right decisions in the most extreme situations. But this is also one of the most noble and necessary professions. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations enjoy sincere and well-deserved respect in our societysays the Head of the Republic.

In 2025, Crimean rescuers eliminated 12 emergency situations and extinguished about 3.5 thousand fires, including forest ones. About 300 people were rescued from fires, road accidents, in the mountains and on the water.

Aviation from the Southern Aviation Rescue Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations was used to extinguish forest fires; 25 flights were carried out. As a result, 23 settlements, home to a total of about 100 thousand people, were saved from the fire.

The Fire Department of the Republic of Crimea carried out more than 6.7 thousand trips during the year, and the CRIMEA-SPAS units carried out 5.1 thousand trips. Specialists of the State Public Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Safe Region” received and processed more than 835 thousand calls.

Sergei Aksenov added that employees of the federal and regional Ministry of Emergency Situations showed high efficiency and readiness to respond to emergency situations. The head of Crimea thanked everyone for their work and wished them good health, peace and new successes.
