Sevastopol athlete Alexander Dolgov took silver at the III games of the CIS countries

Sevastopol athlete Alexander Dolgov rose to the pedestal of the III games of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States held in Azerbaijan. In the competitions that gathered participants from the CIS countries, as well as from Cuba, Kuwait, Oman, Pakistan and Turkey, representatives of 21 sports took part. The Russian team includes about 260 athletes competing in 20 areas.

Alexander Dolgov spoke as part of the national team with Alexander Mineev in the rowing competitions on kayaking and canoe in the discipline of the canoe-two meters-athletes won the silver medal of the competitions held on the rowing base of the Olympic educational and sports center «Cur» in the city of Mingchevir. Sevastopolets represent the sports school of the Olympic Reserve No. 8, is a member of the national team of Sevastopol and Russia.
