Sevastopol families continue to benefit from social support measures under the “Family” national project

CrimeaPRESS reports:

The implementation of the national project “Family” continues in Sevastopol. One of the key areas of work is the activities of the department for helping women who find themselves in difficult life situations. It operates on the basis of the Center for Social Assistance to Family and Children.

The department’s mission is to provide comprehensive social, psychological and legal assistance to women who are in late pregnancy and/or raising children under 18 years of age and who find themselves in difficult life situations. Support is provided both in stationary and semi-stationary form.

One of the recipients of assistance was a young mother, Victoria, whose son Elisha was born a month ago. The department’s specialists and representatives of the ANO “Save Life” promptly responded to her situation and are providing assistance in the care and upbringing of the child.

Our main task is to create conditions for maximum socio-psychological rehabilitation and adaptation of mothers. The department provides the necessary social, medical, psychological, pedagogical and legal services. Victoria regularly works with a psychologist and family specialist and receives advice on raising a child. Thanks to the national project “Family”, she uses the services of “Social Nanny” and rental of essential items for newborns. Today, 31 families used the babysitting service, and 771 families used the rental service. Our specialists work in antenatal clinics, maternity hospitals and children’s clinics, informing and advising mothers about available support measures, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the head of the women’s assistance department of the Center for Social Assistance to Family and Children, Yulia Gasheva.

Right to receive the service «Social nanny» have young families permanently residing in Sevastopol, where both spouses or a single parent under the age of 35 inclusive are raising children under three years of age and belong to one of the categories:
