Sevastopol farmers are preparing equipment for spring field work
The inspection took place on the basis of one of the leading agricultural enterprises in the region — Kachinsky+ LLC. The company owns almost 1,800 hectares of fruit-bearing plantings from the total fund of Sevastopol of more than 5 thousand hectares. The annual grape harvest here averages about 10 thousand tons. On the territory of the farm there is its own primary winemaking factory, which produces more than 450 thousand decalitres of wine material per year — raw materials for further processing at secondary winemaking factories, such as Inkerman Vintage Wine Factory LLC.
More than 90 self-propelled vehicles and trailers for them were submitted for inspection. Inspectors assessed the technical condition of the equipment, checked the numbered units with registration data, checked the availability and serviceability of first aid and fire extinguishing equipment, and made sure that the drivers had a driving license and valid medical certificates.
In preparation for the season, the company paid close attention to the appearance of the machines and the operation of lighting devices. A mandatory requirement is the serviceability of flashing lights, as well as the presence of “Slow-moving vehicle” signs on agricultural machines. All 90 presented self-propelled vehicles successfully passed technical inspection and were declared ready for use in the field.
Passing an annual technical inspection is mandatory for all owners of self-propelled vehicles in the city. The main purpose of a technical inspection is to ensure that the equipment is in good working order, to confirm that its design and condition comply with established standards, and to eliminate the risks associated with the operation of faulty equipment. This annual procedure is an important preventive measure to ensure safety on roads, construction sites, agricultural lands and industrial facilities, — said senior inspector of Gostekhnadzor Sergei Kirillov.
Since the beginning of the year, inspectors from the State Technical Supervision Service of Sevastopol have already checked more than 300 units of self-propelled equipment.
You can submit an application through the portal «Gosuslug». Electronic filing saves time, simplifies interaction with the supervisory authority and reduces the risk of errors during registration.
Let us remind you that liability for operating self-propelled vehicles without undergoing technical inspection within the prescribed period is provided for in Article 9.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and, in addition to imposing a fine, provides for the deprivation of the right to drive not only a self-propelled vehicle, but also all vehicles (cars, watercraft and aircraft).
