Sevastopol: in the first half of 2025, over 9,000 meters of pedestrian crossing markings were laid

In Sevastopol, active work is underway to improve the safety of road users. The activities are being implemented within the framework of the regional project “Road Safety” of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.

Key results for the first half of 2025:

1. More than 3,388.5 linear meters of barrier and pedestrian fencing were repaired, replaced and installed, including in areas where traffic accidents were concentrated.
2. Arranged and restored 227 linear meters. m. artificial road humps (“speed bumps”).
3. 2017 road signs, supports and buffers were installed and replaced.
4. 973.7 km of linear road markings were applied.
5. More than 9,283 m of pedestrian crossing markings and 4,283 m2 of other transverse markings were installed.
6. 390 traffic light objects and variable information displays were serviced, modernized and ensured uninterrupted operation.
7. 971 m² of sidewalks were repaired and installed.
8. As part of government contracts with the State Public Institution “Direction”, 4.7 km of new sidewalks were built.

Let us remind you that road workers started repairing roads in 2026 ahead of schedule. This became possible due to the fact that this year in Sevastopol road work is being carried out ahead of schedule under the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.
