Sevastopol: public transport operation on holidays
On New Year’s and Christmas Eve, 10 routes will be extended. These are trolleybuses, buses and boats that connect remote areas with the city center and the main temples.
- trolleybus No. 7 “Gorpishchenko Street — Central Ring of the City”;
- trolleybus No. 9 “Pobedy Avenue — Central Ring of the City”;
- trolleybus No. 10K “Kazachya Bay — City Center”;
- trolleybus No. 12 “5th km of Balaklava highway — central ring of the city”
- bus No. 3 “5th km of Balaklava highway — TSUM”;
- bus No. 22 “5th km of Balaklava highway — Khersones”;
- bus No. 74 “Victory Park — Khersones”;
- bus No. 92 “Inkerman — Nakhimov Square”;
- bus No. 94 “Balaklava — Nakhimov Square”;
- boat service on the route “Grafskaya pier — Severnaya”.
On New Year’s Eve from December 31 to January 1, as well as on Christmas Eve from January 6 to January 7, these routes will operate until 04:00.
This decision was made so that residents and guests of the city who decide to visit the main city Christmas tree and iconic places of Sevastopol can return home by public transport.
On other days, until January 11 inclusive, public transport will operate on a weekend schedule. We remind you that you can find out the schedule on the website: https://sevdortrans.ru/bus/
At the same time, during the New Year and Christmas holidays, the Department of Transport will strengthen control over the operation of public transport.
From December 31 to January 4 inclusive, free express shuttles from the SOC named after the 200th anniversary of Sevastopol (with an intermediate stop at the square of the 50th anniversary of the USSR) to New Chersonesus will operate. They will run once an hour from 11:00 to 21:00.
On New Year’s Eve from December 31 to January 1, express shuttles will operate until 04:00. Additionally, express shuttles will be launched on Christmas Day. They will be open from 11:00 on January 6 until 05:00 on January 7. And on January 7 from 11:00 to 21:00.
Based on the experience of the previous year, the museum and temple complex was one of the main points of attraction for residents and guests of the city. Therefore, the Department of Transport draws the attention of motorists: in order not to overload Dmitry Ulyanov, Eroshenko and Drevnyaya streets, you can leave your car in the SOK parking lot named after. 200th anniversary of Sevastopol and free travel to New Chersonesus.
