April, at 12: 45 a message was received at the operational desk of the Center for Civil Protection of Sevastopol about the need to evacuate a woman who had a leg injury in a mountainous wooded area. As the Sevastopol rescuers specified, the incident occurred on Balyaik-Kaya Mountain, east of the Devil’s Stairs Pass, on the southern edge of the Ai-Petri Yayla.
The shift on duty of the search and rescue team of the GKU TsGZ of Sevastopol left for the scene. Rescuers found the victim, provided first aid, evacuated her from a hard-to-reach place and handed her over to the doctors. From the GKU TsGZ of the city of Sevastopol, 4 personnel and 1 piece of equipment were involved, the emergency department reported.
