Sevastopol Tax Service: the digital format of interaction with the tax authorities is expanding

From January 1, 2026, tax registration will begin to be confirmed by a new document — an extract from the Unified State Register of Taxpayers. She will replace the certificate of assignment of TIN and a notification of the setting or deregistration. The new order will reduce paper document management: now it is not necessary to store a paper copy of the document, as well as visit the tax authorities to receive it. You can get relevant information from the register of taxpayers about yourself online at any time using electronic services of the Federal Tax Service of Russia.

When registering (deregistering), the tax authorities will issue an extract from the Unified State Register of Taxpayers to both individuals and legal entities without a request:

• Russian and foreign organizations — at the location, place of implementation of activities through a separate unit;
• foreign persons providing electronic trade or providing electronic services in the Russian Federation;
• individuals as notaries, lawyers, arbitration managers, or on the basis of an application for registration with the tax authority or information about the paid income.

Along with the extract from the register of taxpayers, the registration will also be confirmed:

• for legal entities — an extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (the Unified State Register of Legal Entities);
• for foreign legal entities — an extract from RAFP (the State Register of accredited branches, representative offices of foreign legal entities);
• For individual entrepreneurs — an extract from the USRIP (the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs).

Relevant changes to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation have been made Federal Law of 08.08.2024 No. 259-FZ.

To obtain an extract, it is most convenient to submit a request to any tax authority in electronic form — through the personal account of the taxpayer, using the service «Find out your TIN» or Portal of public services.

It is important that there is no need to change previously issued certificates and notifications, they remain valid.
