Sevastopol: The Migration Department reminds about the methods of registration at the place of residence and stay

In order to receive this government service, the applicant will need the following package of documents:

1. Passport or birth certificate, if it is necessary to register a child under 14 years of age;

2. Statement. Employees will provide you with a form to fill out. district MFCs;

3. A document that proves a citizen’s right to reside at a specific address. This could be a purchase and sale agreement for an apartment, an extract from the Unified State Register of Real Estate, or a social lease or rental agreement.

If a citizen is not the owner or tenant of the premises, all home owners must personally come with him to the MFC and sign consent to register the applicant. If this procedure is not possible, then it will be necessary to provide written consent from the owners of the premises, confirmed by a notary.

When submitting an application at the MFC branch, the employee will give the applicant a receipt indicating the date the documents are ready. The law allows up to six working days to complete registration at a new address. Within one day, the documents will be transferred to the territorial department for migration issues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where they will put a registration stamp, and then sent back to the MFC.

In accordance with Article 19.15.1. The Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, failure to register at the place of residence or stay entails a fine.
