Sevastopol utility workers are preparing for the windy season

In Sevastopol, municipalities, management companies and Parks and Squares trim dead trees.

Today we are working in the Maria Baida Park, cutting off dry branches that can break and fall in a strong wind. In our work we use a tower crane with a boom reach of up to 25 meters and a chopper. What can be processed in a shredder. We take away chips and large parts of trees for further disposal, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the representative of the contracting organization Sergei Vakulich.

“Parks and Squares” is working to demolish dead wood and trim dry branches in public spaces in the Leninsky, Gagarinsky and Nakhimovsky districts. In all other areas of the city, the removal of dried trees and branches is organized by local administrations of intra-city municipalities or, if this is a local area, by the relevant management company.

Since the beginning of the year, a total of 3,256 emergency trees have been demolished and trimmed in the city.
