Sevastopol on Saturday will be covered by heavy downpours and winds of up to 20 meters per second, the region’s Emergency Situations Ministry reports.
On October 11, bad weather will continue to prevail in Sevastopol: gusts of north-west wind in Sevastopol will maintain a speed of 15–20 m/s, and heavy rain is also possible in the citythe message says.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that in case of heavy rainfall, flooding of low-lying areas, basements and ground floors is possible. Residents are advised, if possible, to avoid long trips, going out to sea or walking during a storm.
Previously reportedthat a storm warning has also been announced in Crimea for October 10 and 11 due to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions.
