Simferopol is dealing with the consequences of bad weather

In Simferopol, snow removal and de-icing treatment of the road network and pedestrian areas continues around the clock. Snow removal activities are carried out without breaks and weekends. This was announced by the director of the Municipal Budgetary Institution “City” Roman Gusynin. According to him, the situation is under constant monitoring by relevant services.

For prompt response, combined road vehicles operate on the road network around the clock every day, including weekends and holidays. They treat streets, slopes, ascents and bridge structures with deicing materials to ensure safe road traffic.,” noted Roman Gusynin.

Particular attention is paid to the maintenance of pedestrian areas and public spaces. Every day, from early morning, about 450 street cleaners start work, clearing sidewalks, pedestrian paths and other public areas of snow and ice.

The Simferopol administration appeals to motorists not to park vehicles on the roadway and not to create obstacles for the operation of snow removal equipment.
