Since the beginning of the year, 364 Sevastopol residents received the title “Veteran of Labor”

Since the beginning of 2025, 364 Sevastopol residents have been awarded the title “Veteran of Labor”. This was reported by the Deputy Head of the Department of Targeted Social Support of the Population of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Svetlana Kovaleva.

For registration, it is allowed to provide both original documents and their copies certified by a notary or the social security department— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Svetlana Kovaleva.

The title “Veteran of Labor” is awarded to citizens who:

• awarded orders or medals of the USSR or the Russian Federation, diplomas of the President of the Russian Federation or awarded the gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation, departmental insignia in labor;
• departmental insignia in labor, provided that the awarded citizens worked in the system of bodies, ministries and departments;
• awarded honorary titles of the USSR, the RSFSR or the Russian Federation and having a length of service (insurance) taken into account for the assignment of a pension of at least 25 years for men and 20 years for women or the length of service necessary for the assignment of a pension for long service in calendar terms.
