Since the beginning of the year, the SFR branch in the Republic of Crimea has proactively issued more than 7,000 certificates for maternal capital

The branch of the Social Fund of Russia in the Republic of Crimea has been proactively issuing certificates for maternal family capital for more than five years. Thanks to this, families receive support faster and do not waste time and effort on paperwork. In total, during this time, more than 55 thousand certificates for maternal capital were issued to families in the region, more than 7 thousand of them in 2025.

Crimeans today do not need to apply to the regional branch of the SFR for a certificate for maternity capital: we issue it without an application. Parents just need to issue a child’s birth certificate at the registry office and be registered on the State Services portal. Within 5 working days after receiving information about the birth of the baby, our specialists make a decision and send a notification of receipt of maternity capital to the mother’s personal account on the State Services portal,” said Ivan Ryabokon, Manager of the SFR Branch for the Republic of Crimea.

If necessary, parents can print the electronic document or save it in digital format on a computer. When carrying out the annual indexation of unspent funds, you will not need to exchange the certificate — you can get information about the new amount of maternity capital (or its balance) on the State Services portal.

Let us remind you that in 2025 the amount of maternity capital for the first child is 690,266.95 rubles. At the birth of a second child, the family receives an additional payment in the amount of 221,895.14 rubles. If before the birth of the second or any subsequent child there was no right to maternity capital or it was not registered, the family has the right to the amount of 912,162.09 rubles.

Parents can use state support funds in one or several areas. Immediately after receiving the certificate, funds can be used to pay off a mortgage loan, pay for kindergarten, receive a monthly payment for children under 3 years of age, and compensate for the cost of goods and services for children with disabilities.

It is possible to improve living conditions without borrowing funds, pay for a child’s education, and also send funds to the mother’s funded pension only after the child turns three years old, with whose birth the family has the right to a certificate.

For families who have adopted children, the application procedure for obtaining a certificate remains the same, since only the adoptive parents themselves can provide the information necessary to obtain maternity capital.
