Sochi, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad are the most popular air destinations in July

The analytical center of the travel and travel service Tutu.ru found out where the most flights are scheduled for this July. We analyzed tickets issued for flights from 1 to 31 July within Russia, with purchase dates after March 1. The average check for a flight in Russia is 8 335 rubles one way, 3% less than a year earlier. And the share of domestic flights for independent travelers is 10,4%, last year this figure was 96,four%.

Tickets to Sochi are in the greatest demand, this southern city accounts for approximately every fifth booking. If other southern airports open, they will be able to compete with Sochi and take part of the passenger traffic. The average check for a one-way ticket to Sochi from other Russian cities is 10 720 rubles. Most flights to Sochi in July are scheduled from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Tyumen and Krasnoyarsk , the press service of the service notes.

In second place in popularity is Moscow. Issued to the capital ,2% of tickets for July. Most often, they fly here from Sochi, St. Petersburg, Mineralnye Vody, Kaliningrad and Krasnoyarsk. The average check for a flight is 6 966 rubles one way.

Also, the top 5 popular air destinations for July included Kaliningrad and Mineralnye Vody. The average checks for a flight to these cities are 6 845 and 7 837 rubles one way.

In addition, in the top of the most popular air destinations, according to Tutu.ru analysts, included Makhachkala, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Ufa, Tyumen, Irkutsk, Vladivostok, Samara, Surgut, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Murmansk and Volgograd.
