Social security authorities: August 15 in Sevastopol will begin accepting applications for payments to the school

From 15 August, the social security authorities will accept applications for compensation for the purchase of school uniforms and financial assistance for the new school year.

This year, payments can be made both through the district departments of social protection and through the branches of the MFC. Let me remind you that compensation is paid only for children from large families whose average per capita income does not exceed two living wages , — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the deputy head of the social security department of the department of labor and social protection of the population Evgenia Pytko.

She also noted that the amount of compensation depends on the amount of funds spent on the purchase of a school uniform, while it cannot exceed 3 15 rubles.

A prerequisite for receiving compensation is the provision of receipts for the purchase of a school suit, trousers, jacket, vest, shirt, golf, as well as a tie, belt, skirt, sundress and other items of clothing.

The amount of one-time assistance for the new academic year this year has been indexed and amounts to 1 600 rubles. It can be received by low-income families whose income does not exceed one and a half subsistence minimum.

As well as compensation, one-time assistance for the new academic year is provided for each child attending a general education institution. Thus, for each student, the family can receive 5 100 rubles,” said the deputy head of the department.

You can apply for payments until November 1st. In the 2022 year, more than 14 million rubles were provided for these purposes in the budget of Sevastopol.
