A natural anomaly or did Spring come?
In Simferopol, daffodils, tulips and peonies bloomed in the flower beds. Is such a phenomenon normal for our region, said the deputy director of the municipal budgetary institution «Gorzelenkhoz» Maria Baranenkova.
It is quite normal for our region when snowdrops bloom and the first tulips and daffodils make their way. Therefore, the flowers will not freeze even when the Crimean cold weather sets in, and even if the flowers fall under frost, they will still delight us in the spring. The most dangerous for flowers is a stable frost down to — degrees, which does not happen in the Crimea, — said Maria Baranenkova.
Violas, primroses and daisies are currently grown in Simferopol greenhouses, which will decorate the flowerbeds of the city in early spring.
