St. George Ribbon and Red Carnation campaigns are held in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
All-Russian campaigns «St. George’s Ribbon» and «Red Carnation» are held in Crimea. On the central streets of Simferopol, Victory Volunteers, together with the service of bailiffs of Crimea, handed out symbols of Victory Day to residents and guests of the city.
The actions are held in parallel, but each carries its own meaning — an expression of gratitude and respect for all those who have defended and are defending our Motherland. This is what unites our country around our common values.— said the chairman of the State Committee for Youth Policy of the Republic of Crimea Alexei Zinchenko.
Actions are held in all municipalities of the republic, where volunteers point-by-point distribute the St. George ribbon to everyone until May 9 and talk about how to wear it correctly.

The action «Red Carnation» is a symbol of memory and a way to help war veterans. You can join the campaign and purchase a red carnation until June 22.
To take part in the campaign, you need to purchase a Red Carnation badge — in 76 regions of Russia, volunteers distribute badges for donations right on the streets of cities and towns, and you can also buy badges in chain stores and popular marketplaces. In order to find out where you can buy the symbol of Victory in a particular region of Crimea, you need to call the telephone number of the regional branch of «Volunteers of Victory» in the Republic of Crimea: +7 (978) 956-21-56. The proceeds go to the Memory of Generations Charitable Foundation to help veterans of the Great Patriotic War and other hostilities.
