Tonight and Saturday night, the Sevastopol State Traffic Inspectorate will hold a preventive measure to identify violators of traffic rules. As emphasized in the traffic police, inspectors will pay special attention to drunk drivers.
The event will involve employees of all departments of the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sevastopol. Crews will work not only on the main city highways, but also in remote areas— reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, 417 drivers in a state of intoxication have been identified on the roads of Sevastopol.
The State Traffic Inspectorate recalls that if a medical examination is refused, as well as when driving while intoxicated, the driver faces an administrative fine of thirty thousand rubles with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of one and a half to two years.
In the case of a repeated case of driving while intoxicated, the driver faces criminal liability under Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, for which punishment is provided in the form of a fine in the amount of 200 to 300 thousand rubles, or imprisonment for up to two years.
