Most often, hotels abroad were booked in winter in Belarus, Turkey and Kazakhstan, and in Russia Moscow and St. Petersburg are in the lead.
Analysts of the Tutu travel service hotel direction found out where most often they booked hotels this winter. About 93% of the demand came from accommodation facilities within the country, and 7% — from foreign cities. In Russia, hotels were booked for an average of 2 nights and paid an average of 3,300 rubles per night, while abroad, the average stay was 3 nights, and the average bill was 6,795 rubles per night— noted in the press service of the service.

For those who went abroad, the greatest demand was for hotels and other accommodation facilities in Belarus. This country accounted for about a quarter of demand among foreign destinations. The average check per night was 4,193 rubles.
Turkey is in second place in terms of popularity, here the average check per night was 6,128 rubles. In third place is Kazakhstan, the average check was 5,512 rubles per night.
The top 10 also includes Armenia, the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Mexico, Thailand and Italy.
Among Russian cities, Moscow was the most in demand, accounting for about a quarter of the demand. The average bill was 3,819 rubles per night. In second place is St. Petersburg (18% of demand), where an average of 2,993 rubles was paid per night. And Sochi closes the top three, where the average check in winter was at the level of 3,201 rubles per night.
Also, Kazan, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Kaliningrad were in the top 10 cities in terms of booking hotels and other types of accommodation following the results of the winter.
