Students from Lebanon and India will have internships at the Artek International Children’s Center in 2026

The international children’s center «Artek» will again accept foreign students for internships in 2026 — this time future teachers from Lebanon and India are expected, the center told TASS.

Internships for foreign students will be resumed in 2025. In 2026, we will also accept foreign students for teaching internships. The issue with the Republic of India and the Lebanese Republic is being worked outsays the agency in response to a request.

Director of the IDC Konstantin Fedorenko noted that one of the main goals of the Artek development program until 2030 is international activity.

In the next five-year period, it is planned to expand the list of partner countries to the maximum possible list. It will also include those states with which Russia has yet to build a large constructive dialogue. Building long-term friendships will occur not only among children, but also at the levels of the teaching community and the student community,” he clarified.

REFERENCE: «Artek» — the famous pioneer camp of the USSR — was founded in 1925. After the reunification of Crimea with Russia in 2014, the children’s center, which consists of nine camps, became federal property. Since 2014, more than 10 thousand children from 105 countries have visited it.
