Tax Service of Sevastopol: electronic services will help you control the payment of taxes

A little less than a month is left until individuals pay the taxes specified in the notifications sent to them for 2024. To make sure that taxes are paid in full and there are no debts, or to make payment, it is most convenient to “Taxpayer’s personal account for individuals” on the website of the Federal Tax Service of Russia or in the mobile application “Taxes FL”. Notifications may also be sent to personal account on the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services, if the user has enabled this option.

Let us remind you that access to the service “Taxpayer’s personal account for individuals” carried out in one of three ways:

• Using the login and password specified in the registration card received from any tax authority in Russia;
• Using a qualified electronic signature;
• Using the Unified Identification and Authentication System (USIA) account — access details used for authorization on the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services.

A convenient payment method is the Internet service «Payment of taxes and duties»which does not require authorization. To do this, in the service you need to select the “Top up UTS” option and enter only 3 details: full name, tax identification number and payment amount.

The resource offers 3 payment methods: by credit card, through the website of a credit institution, or by generating a receipt. The receipt contains a document index (UIN) and a QR code, which can also be used for payment.

If the taxpayer does not pay taxes on time, then from December 2, 2025, the debt will grow daily due to the accrual of penalties. If the notification is not received, you can apply for it to any tax authority, MFC, or send an appeal through taxpayer personal account or service «Contact the Federal Tax Service of Russia«

Many citizens have already paid the accrued amounts and often ask the question: why, after payment, the tax amount continues to be displayed in “Taxpayer personal account for individuals» as unpaid? It should be noted that the funds were received by the budget and reserved in the taxpayer’s single tax account, but will be credited only on the day the payment is due, that is, December 1, 2025. Until this date, the accrued tax amount may continue to appear in personal account in the “Delayed overpayment” block of the “UNS” section, despite the payment already made.
