Tax service: revenue in the markets of Sevastopol has grown significantly

In the Department of the Federal Tax Service for the city of Sevastopol, at a meeting of the working group, the results of the work were summed up and joint steps were outlined for the further implementation of the sectoral project of the Federal Tax Service of Russia “Exclusion of dishonest behavior in the markets”.
The event was attended by the Director of the Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market of the city of Sevastopol Natalia Skoryukova, the First Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market of the city of Sevastopol Vitaly Sorokin, the head of the Consumer Market Department of the Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market of the city of Sevastopol Ksenia Kazandzhieva, the head of the State Unitary Enterprise Management Company Optovo -retail markets, shopping malls of Sevastopol «Alexander Makeenko, as well as the director of the markets, which are under the jurisdiction of the State Unitary Enterprise UK ORTK of Sevastopol».
More than 18 thousand units of cash registers are registered in Sevastopol, of which about 2 thousand units of cash registers (or 12% of the total) are used in seventeen operating markets.
Cash revenue recorded with the help of cash registers in the markets of the city in the 1st quarter of 2023, compared to the same period last year, increased by 35% and amounted to 1.3 million rubles.
Aleksey Mogila, head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, noted that the employees of the Department, continuing the implementation of the industry project, are currently focusing on preventive measures. Thus, unscrupulous taxpayers are first issued a warning, and if the situation is not corrected, control and supervisory measures are taken.
In the current year, 157 preventive measures in the form of announcements of warnings, 37 control measures were carried out on the territory of the markets, as a result of which a violation of the current legislation of the Russian Federation on the use of cash registers was established and administrative penalties were applied.
In addition, in addition to monitoring compliance with the legislation on the use of CCPs, joint raids were organized to curb unauthorized trade. Based on the results of joint raids, 62 protocols on administrative violations were drawn up.
Employees of the Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market of the city of Sevastopol, the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol, as well as representatives of the Administration of municipalities are involved in the raid activities.
Aleksey Mogila, Head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, emphasized that the joint efforts of the tax service, the Department of Agriculture and the Consumer Market of the city of Sevastopol and market management companies will undoubtedly lead to an increase in the growth of budget revenues by reducing the shadow turnover of retail markets and, importantly, will ensure the creation equal competitive business conditions for city entrepreneurs.
