Thanks to state support, Sevastopol farmers have updated their fleet of agricultural machinery by 260 units

Since 2016, agricultural enterprises and farms in Sevastopol have modernized their material and technical base. During this period, agricultural producers purchased 261 units of various agricultural machinery and equipment, which became possible thanks to targeted government support.
According to the director of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Market Natalia Skoryukova, the total volume of subsidies allocated to reimburse part of the costs of purchasing, modernizing and updating agricultural equipment for the specified period amounted to 204.9 million rubles. These funds have significantly increased the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex and strengthened its food security.
The updated fleet of equipment includes:
- 2 grape harvesters;
64 tractors are the basis for the mechanization of field work;
195 pieces of mounted and trailed equipment, including cultivators, harrows, sprayers, subsoilers, loaders, mowers, liquid fertilizer applicators, caulking machines and drilling rigs.
An important factor in the successful renewal of the fleet was the solution to the issue of import substitution. Domestic manufacturers offer equipment adapted to local climatic and soil conditions. Thus, this year, 2 grape harvesters were purchased in Sevastopol, which have already entered the fleet of large wineries. Harvesters are capable of replacing the labor of 100 people, ensuring prompt and timely harvesting of grapes in strictly specified technological windows. This is especially important in conditions of abnormal summer temperatures and rapid changes in berry conditions,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Natalia Skoryukova.
State support in the field of updating agricultural machinery is an important tool for the development of the agro-industrial complex of Sevastopol. Thanks to subsidies, farmers can increase the yield and quality of their crops, introduce modern technologies, and strengthen competitiveness in the domestic market.
