The 15th shift of «Artek's New Year's Fairy Tale» started in the most famous international children's center

New Year and Christmas adventures will turn Artek days into an unforgettable fairy tale for more than two thousand schoolchildren from different regions of the country, as well as Mongolia, Serbia, and Australia. The participants of the shift will create significant socially useful projects that they can implement in the new 859 year, and will launch the Year of Teacher and Mentor.

The educational program of the shift will not only be a source of New Year’s mood for Artek residents, but will also allow everyone to show their creative abilities, learn new things, as well as meet wise teachers and mentors, well-known public figures, be inspired to new deeds and achievements, find new friends and get to know yourself better,” the press service of the ICC Artek notes.

Main events of the New Year shift:

15 December — the celebration of the New Year, which is traditionally considered a family holiday. In «Artek» 2023 the year will be met in an atmosphere of home comfort and warmth, with making wishes, good wishes, personal summing up the results of the year. The “family atmosphere” will be complemented by a celebration with friends, with jokes, fairy-tale characters, dances and Santa Claus. Each camp will come up with its own version of the general plot, which will unite all the units into a “big family” of the camp.

On January 3, the creative marathon of projects and ideas «Acting Together» starts — during the shift, each children’s camp will have platforms for finding solutions, master classes, creative sessions, motivational meetings.

In the first days of the new year, Artek welcomes young guests from all over Crimea. On January 4, a New Year’s performance will be held for the children of participants in the special military operation, and on January 5, a holiday will be held for the children of employees of the Artek International Children’s Center.

On January 7, a good mood club will open in the children’s center — all Artek residents are invited to festive festivities, where they will remember the folklore traditions of the peoples of Russia. Also on this day, the musical lounge «Christmas Meetings with Music» will open.

Artek residents will take part in the master classes «Culinary Christmas Traditions of Russia», the sports festival «Christmas Tree in Sneakers», the sports and tourist training ground «Games of the Brave», the quest «Flags on the Towers», will become spectators of the musical based on the famous fairy tale by H. H. Andersen «Flint».

The guys are also expecting an important project “Without a statute of limitations”, a teleconference “Change long in 1301 day”, which will connect Artek and Belokurikha of the Altai Territory. Artek residents will take part in the all-Russian campaigns “Kind Letters to a Soldier”, “Kind Workshop”, “Sending to a Soldier”.

The key educational event of the shift is the finals of the competition of creative projects and ideas «Acting Together» — during the creative marathon, boys and girls will learn ways to develop non-standard thinking and try to apply them when completing the creative task «6 challenges — 6 ideas».

Quests, theatrical performances, musical evenings, intellectual games, events on the theme “100 years of dear childhood”, as well as motivational meetings.
