The Almondnoye and Utes treatment plants in Crimea will be put into operation by the end of 2025

By the end of this year we plan to put into operation two treatment plants “Mindalnoe” and “Utes”, — quotes the press service of Yuri Gotsanyuk.
According to the Chairman of the Government, the station in the village of Mindalnoye is already 100% ready. It is equipped with modern mechanical and deep biological treatment systems, as well as ultraviolet disinfection. The facility’s capacity is up to 15 thousand cubic meters of wastewater per day. The purified water will be discharged through a collector more than 5 km long into Lake Bugaz.
Commissioning work at the facility has been completed, and technical documentation is now being prepared for the transfer of the structure to the operating organization.
As for the Utes WWTP in the village of Maly Mayak, its construction readiness is 95%. After modernization, the station’s capacity will increase from 3 to 5 thousand cubic meters per day. Mechanical and biological treatment technologies with UV treatment have also been introduced here. The purified water will be discharged into the sea through a 2.4 km long deep-sea outlet.
The installation of a checkpoint, installation of external lighting, finishing of facades, road work and landscaping of the territory are being completed at the site.
Yuri Gotsanyuk emphasized that the implementation of these projects is of key importance for the environmental safety of the region and improving the quality of life of the population.
