The annual All-Russian project “Good to the Village” was launched in Crimea
The annual All-Russian project “Good to the Village. Medical volunteers, together with employees of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention,” go to medical outpatient clinics and medical and obstetric centers in Crimean villages to conduct educational events on the topic of early detection of diseases and risk factors for their occurrence, training the population in first aid techniques, as well as providing assistance in landscaping the territories of medical institutions.
The first visit was carried out by doctors together with volunteers to a medical outpatient clinic in the village of Pleasant Date, Bakhchisarai district. Participants had conversations with local residents about the importance of committing to a healthy lifestyle and the need to completely quit smoking. Participants of the action emphasized that the absence of bad habits is a key factor in the prevention of arterial hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases.
During the conversation, the action participants also reminded residents of the importance of regular medical examinations and preventive examinations. Activists of the volunteer movement distributed visual thematic materials to citizens— reported the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
According to established tradition, a cleanup day became an important component of the “Good to the Village” project. Volunteers cleaned up the area adjacent to the medical clinic.
The next trip of doctors and volunteers is planned to the Belogorsky district.
