The capacity of the new sewage treatment facilities in Saki needs to be increased by 10 thousand cubic meters. A corresponding petition from the Council of Ministers of Crimea has been sent to the Russian government. About this in an exclusive interview RIA Novosti Crimea said the head of the city administration, Yulia Predybaylo. According to her, new capacities are required by treatment plants, taking into account the active construction of resort infrastructure. In particular, the Golden Sands resort between Saki and Yevpatoria and two new sanatoriums in the city itself with 800 rooms.
15 thousand cubic meters of capacity have already been “dismantled” by investors. We accept wastewater not only from the city of Saki, but also from Novofedorovka, and other parts of the Saki district. Initially, the project was for 25 thousand cubic meters. The petition that another 10 thousand cubic meters is needed, prepared by the Council of Ministers of Crimea to increase capacity, is now under consideration by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustinshe said.
January 13, 2025 in Saki, the construction of sewage treatment plants using new processing technologies was completed. The treatment capacity is 15 thousand cubic meters per day. The total area of the spillway collector site is almost 24.5 thousand square meters.
