The case against the former leadership of the MU «Road-Activation Plot» of Yalta went to court

The main investigative department of the IC of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol completed an investigation into a criminal case against the former director and his two deputies of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise “Road-Impetation Plot” of the municipality of the city district of Yalta. They are accused of receiving bribes by officials on an especially large scale as part of a group of persons (part 6 of article 290, paragraphs “a”, “c” of part 5 of article 290, part 1 of article 292 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The Office for the Investigation of Particularly important cases established that from August to October 2024, deputies organized a scheme to receive bribes for assistance in concluding municipal contracts with the DEU MBU for the cleaning of Yalta and the unhindered acceptance of work performed.

During the negotiations with an individual entrepreneur, the deputies indicated that they need to transfer 50% of the profit received from profit contracts for such patronage. As a result, the contractor freely passed the competition, all the necessary documents were prepared for him. In November 2024, officials from the individual entrepreneur received in a total amount of more than 2.7 million rubles, which were divided among themselves.

The criminal activity of the leading person MBU «DEU» was suppressed in cooperation with the UEBIPK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Crimea.

At the place of work and residence of the defendants, as well as witnesses, with the power support of the special forces of the Sobr Crimean customs, searches were carried out, documentation and objects of interest to the investigation authorities were seized.

The investigation of the criminal case has been completed, the materials were sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
