The children’s park in Simferopol, where landscaping work continues, is planned to open before May 1 of this year. This was announced by the head of the department for supporting the construction of improvement projects of the administration of the Crimean capital, Andrei Drevich, the press service of the administration reports.
The planned completion date for construction and installation work and the opening of the updated park is until May 1, 2026said Drevich.
According to him, currently more than 17 thousand square meters of tiled covering have been laid in the park, over 10 kilometers of side stones and curbs have been installed, and 179 outdoor lighting poles have been installed.
A fountain complex, playgrounds and sports grounds have also been installed. At the moment, the contractor is planning the territory, sowing the lawn and installing small architectural forms.
In addition, the construction of the amphitheater and the renovation of the entrance group continue, and the installation of automatic watering and video surveillance systems is being completed.
In October last year, the director of the Capital Parks enterprise, Vladimir Marchenko, announced that the Children’s Park would be opened after reconstruction by November 1.
The improvement of the Children’s Park has been underway as part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life” since April of this year. Residents of Simferopol chose this object during the vote in 2024.
