The crews of the frigate «Admiral Makarov» and the small anti-submarine ship «Yeisk» of the Black Sea Fleet conducted an exercise to search for and detect the «enemy» submarine. The exercise took place in one of the sea ranges in the Black Sea in accordance with the combat training plan for the fleet forces. According to the press service of the Southern Military District, the Stary Oskol crew served as a mock enemy.

During the exercise, the crews of the ships successfully worked out the assigned tasks of searching for and tracking the submarine, and also completed a set of ship training exercises on the use of torpedo weapons and bombing— the press service reports.

The sailors conducted the exercise in cooperation with the anti-submarine forces of the naval aviation of the Black Sea Fleet.
