The Crimean horticulture industry will receive over 361 million rubles of support
In Crimea, over 361 million rubles of support will be allocated to the horticulture industry. The funds will be used to plant gardens and care for perennial plantings, said the head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov.

Of these, about 324 million rubles will go directly to planting gardens and more than 37 million to caring for perennial plantingshe wrote on his social networks.
According to the head, this year Crimean farmers expect to receive 200 thousand tons of fruit and berry products. In addition, there are plans to plant 400 hectares of young orchards.
At the end of last year, the total area of fruit plantings in the republic reached almost 17 thousand hectares, of which over 11.7 thousand were in fruit-bearing orchards where pome and stone fruit crops ripen, he specified.
At the same time, Aksenov added that last year, due to unfavorable weather conditions, the gross harvest of fruit and berry products fell to 105 thousand tons.
Earlier, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Denis Kratyuk reported that the January frosts and snowfalls did not cause damage to fruit and agricultural crops in Crimea, so in the republic harvest is not expected to decline. The only concern for farmers and gardeners now is possible spring frosts.
He also notedthat the sowing period for Crimea is a “strategic time” when the groundwork for the next year is determined, that is, we are talking about the food security of the republic.
