The donor event “Blood Center, Merry Christmas!” took place in Sevastopol.

During the holidays, the Sevastopol Blood Center holds a donor campaign “Blood Center, Merry Christmas!” Its goal is to remind you of the need to provide medical organizations with the necessary supplies of blood components on days when the need for them remains consistently high.

Blood components are required by medical institutions every day, regardless of holidays and weekends. Having sufficient supplies allows doctors to provide emergency medical care and perform planned and high-tech operations.

In total, 1,615 people became blood donors for the first time in 2025, and the total number of donations was an impressive 14,000. 6,615 people passed through donor centers during the year.

Thanks to this work, more than 8,000 liters of blood were collected and processed into vital components: red blood cells, platelets, and plasma.

Also in 2025, 292 new volunteers from Sevastopol entered the Federal Register of Bone Marrow Donors.
