The downside is four tires and a windshield. In Sevastopol, jealousy brought a woman to court
“Revenge cannot be forgiven!” With this thought, the woman, having learned that her partner had left for a new lover, decided to damage his passion’s car. The amount of damage amounted to more than 66 thousand rubles.
As soon as the 48-year-old woman found out that her 50-year-old ex was living with her new chosen one, she decided to see for herself. To do this, she called her ex-lover and agreed to come to his apartment, ostensibly to pick up her things that he grabbed when leaving home.
The man met her at the entrance, sitting behind the wheel of a foreign car that belonged to his partner. Together they went up to the apartment, where a scandal subsequently broke out, as the woman saw her rival there. Having let off steam, the offended lady went home. It was then that her revenge plan matured — to damage the car.
At home, the woman prepared properly: she drank alcohol for courage, armed herself with a knife and, waiting until late at night so that there were no witnesses, headed to the address she knew. On the spot, she found the car she needed, took a knife out of her bag and punctured all four tires, and broke the windshield with a stone. After this the lady hurried away— the details of the love story were announced in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Sevastopol.
In the morning, the owner of the car discovered damage to her car and contacted the police. The local police commissioners of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Gagarinsky district quickly identified and detained the attacker. Now she faces up to 2 years of imprisonment in accordance with Part 1 of Art. 167 “Deliberate destruction or damage to property.”
