The features of pension provision for citizens of the Russian Federation who have worked periods in Crimea and Sevastopol have been established
Federal Law of March 23, 2026 N 59-FZ “On Amendments to the Federal Law “On the Peculiarities of Pension Provision for Citizens of the Russian Federation Who Work in the Territories of Ukraine, the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic, on the Revocation of Part 5 of Article 5.1 of the Federal Law “On the Peculiarities of Pension Provision for Citizens of the Russian Federation Living in the Territories of the Republic of Crimea and a City of Federal Significance” Sevastopol» and amendments to Articles 6 and 8 of the Federal Law «On the specifics of pension and additional social security for citizens living in the territories of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lugansk People’s Republic, Zaporozhye region and Kherson region.»
According to the adopted law, when establishing insurance pensions, the insurance (work) length of service will also include periods of work and (or) other activities that were performed in the territories of the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol from March 17 to December 31, 2014.
A procedure has been established for taking into account the value of the individual pension coefficient when determining the right of these citizens to an insurance pension, as well as features for confirming periods of work and (or) other activities in the territories of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The federal law comes into force on the day of its official publication.
