The fire at the oil depot in Sevastopol is completely eliminated

By one o’clock in the afternoon, the fire at the oil depot in Sevastopol was localized, open burning was eliminated. By 4 p.m., the fire had been extinguished. The firefighters worked quickly and confidently.
Initially, the fire had no chance to go beyond the perimeter of the containers— said the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev. Thanks to all our firefighters for their professional work!
According to him, the tanks that could be saved were cut off from the fire and constantly cooled. Four tanks burned down.
According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol, more than 150 people and 50 units of equipment worked at the scene of the emergency, including 107 personnel and 34 units of equipment from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
