An instructive story about women’s experiences, insidious champagne and no less insidious men. In Balaklava, operatives detained a man suspected of stealing the property of a local resident. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol, the attacker took advantage of the victim’s forgetfulness and robbed her.

It was established that in the evening after a quarrel with her boyfriend, a 23-year-old girl bought a bottle of champagne and used it on her own in the yard. Some time later, she went home, leaving her backpack on the bench, which contained documents, a music speaker, a tablet computer, wireless headphones, sunglasses and perfume with a total value of 47 thousand rubles. This was noticed by one of the local residents, abusing alcohol. The man secretly stole a woman’s purse and fled. He managed to sell some of the stolen things to his friends.— told the details in the Sevastopol police.

As a result of operational-search activities, officers of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Balaklava district detained a 43-year-old suspect and seized part of the stolen goods. A criminal case was initiated against the attacker under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”). «Ungentleman» faces up to five years in prison.
