The Government of the Russian Federation approved the criteria for objects (auxiliary structures and buildings) that can be built without a permit

In Russia, says RBC Real Estateapproved the criteria for auxiliary structures and structures that can be erected on the site next to the main building without obtaining a special building permit.

The corresponding decree is published on the website of the government. The document determines the area, location, height and other characteristics of auxiliary facilities, depending on various construction cases. The document clarifies that in areas where private houses are located, the height of structures for domestic needs (baths, greenhouses, sheds, wells) should be no more than three floors or 20 m. Permits for such buildings will not be required if they are located on a site with the main building, and their construction was provided for by the project documentation, the resolution says.

During construction on the territory of industrial facilities, an auxiliary building that can be erected without a permit must be no more than 1.5 thousand square meters in area. m, follows from the materials of the government.

The emergence of clear criteria by which it will be possible to determine whether the buildings are auxiliary will reduce the number of complaints and litigation on such issues, according to the government. The innovation will work on September 1, 2023.
