The governor of Sevastopol is not happy with the city's beaches

At the operational meeting today, they discussed the readiness of Sevastopol beaches for the season.

People have already opened the season on all beaches, although we officially start on the 15th. There are questions for beach operators. Everything should be ready by now. There are a lot of comments from Sevastopol residents — the territory should be cleaned from the early morning. If the operators wanted to improve something for the season and did not have time, you need to stop and put in order what is— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev.

This year, the swimming season in Sevastopol officially starts on June 15th. Vice Governor Yevgeny Gorlov said that the readiness of the beaches today is 90%.

In anticipation of the swimming season, diving surveys of the seabed are being carried out. After the results of water tests, permits for the operation of the beaches will be issued.

Thanks to the support of the Government of Sevastopol, this year grants were issued for the creation and development of beaches: Silver, Golden, Uchkuevka, Soldatsky, Aquamarine, Sandy Bay, Our Sail. New infrastructure will appear in recreation areas on the seashore: shady recreation areas, equipment for people with limited mobility.

On the beaches of Nakhimovets, Omega, Zolotoy, Uchkuevka, the operator is planning to equip summer cinemas. Children’s playgrounds will be equipped on the beaches «Soldatsky», «Aquamarine», «Sand Bay», «Our Parus».

On the territory of the Uchkuevka beach, the beach operator installed the Mobile Guide — an interactive stand with navigation along the embankment, information about the infrastructure, cafes, shops, toilets, showers and parking lots.

This season, it is also planned to open a new suburban beach «Dolphin», located in the area of Laspi Bay.
