The head of Crimea thanked the initiative group for installing a bust of Admiral Fyodor Ushakov in Simferopol

Among other things, the parties focused on the issue of perpetuating the memory of events and personalities of Russian military history, in particular admiral and naval commander Fyodor Ushakov.
Thus, this summer a bust of the legendary commander of the Black Sea Fleet was erected in the city of Simferopol. The project was implemented through the efforts of the initiative group for the construction of a spiritual and historical complex in honor of the holy righteous warrior Fyodor Ushakov in Moscow and its leader Dmitry Shlopak.
Sergei Aksyonov expressed gratitude to the initiative group for their attention to Crimea and their respectful attitude towards the outstanding defenders of the Fatherland. According to the Head of the Republic, this is especially important in the context of the upbringing and education of modern youth.
Also during the meeting, Sergei Aksenov was presented with a gift edition of a book about the life and exploits of Admiral Ushakov.
