The Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea issued a verdict in a criminal case against a 38-year-old resident of Feodosia. The court, agreeing with the position of the public prosecutor, sentenced the murderer to 20 years in prison with a sentence to be served in a strict regime correctional colony, further restriction of freedom for a period of 2 years and a fine of 100 thousand rubles. In favor of the relatives of the deceased, 2 million rubles were recovered as compensation for harm.
Severe punishment is quite explainable by the circumstances of the crime. As clarified in the Investigative Committee, the man was found guilty of illegal alteration of firearms, murder involving robbery, robbery with violence, weapons and grievous bodily harm to the victim, illegal storage, transportation and carrying of firearms, its main parts (part 1 of Art. .223, paragraph «h» part 2 of article 105, paragraph «c» part 4 of article 162, part 1 of article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
On August 2 last year, an unemployed resident of Feodosia, having decided to commit a robbery, placed a gun he had converted, which he kept at home, into a sports bag and went through the streets of the city in search of a victim. In the courtyard of an apartment building on Stepanyan Street, he noticed a parked Daewoo Matiz car driven by an unfamiliar man. The intruder opened the right front door, but the driver tried to resist. Then the attacker through the window fired two shots from a sawn-off gun, a resident of Feodosia died from his wounds.— told the details in the Sledkom.
After that, the shooter pulled the body of the murdered man from the car, leaving it in the yard, and he tried to escape by stealing a vehicle worth more than 100 thousand rubles, but was detained by residents of a neighboring house.
A particularly serious crime was solved in cooperation with colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Republic of Crimea
During the investigation, the man wrote a confession, and as part of the verification of testimony on the spot, he told and showed step by step how he had committed a particularly serious crime. During a search in his apartment, sawn off parts of a gun were found, with the help of which the attacker committed the murder of a resident of Feodosia.
