The military-patriotic game “Zarnitsa 2.0” was launched in Sevastopol

All-Russian military-patriotic game “Zarnitsa 2.0” is a modern high-tech game using digital technologies, which includes activities for patriotic education, physical training and teaching basic military training skills. The opening ceremony of the project took place at the ChVVMU named after P.S. Nakhimov. In Sevastopol, the game is implemented by the First Movement, Youth Army, the North Military District Veterans Association, the Department of Education and Science, the Center for Military Patriotic Education and the Youth Affairs Department as part of the Youth and Children national project.

“Zarnitsa” has long become a symbol of courage, friendship and the desire to win. And version 2.0 is a step forward: a combination of traditions and new technologies, military training and a current youth format in which each participant will be able to show initiative, leadership and responsibility,” noted the head of the youth affairs department, Marina Slonchenko.

The goal of the game is the comprehensive development of the personality of youth, intellectual, moral and physical improvement, the acquisition and consolidation of basic military training skills by participants, the formation in participants of the readiness and practical ability to fulfill civic duty and constitutional obligations to protect the Fatherland.

By participating in Zarnitsa 2.0, a child gains valuable skills such as operating unmanned vehicles, providing first aid, identifying and countering false information, protection against cyber threats, combat tactics, assault operations, mine clearance and survival in extreme conditions.

In addition, the game develops the ability to work in a team, forms a sense of belonging to a common cause, discipline, collective and individual responsibility. This helps children become more organized, self-confident and ready for various life situations.

The modern military-patriotic game is intended for children and youth in the following categories:

1) Younger age category: 7–10 years;

2) Average age category: 11–13 years;

3) Senior age category: 14–17 years;

4) Special category: 18 years – 23 years (students of secondary vocational education and students of pedagogical universities under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education of Russia).
