The Mini-football team of Crimea took the silver festival of culture and sports of the peoples of the South of Russia

The mini-football tournament took place on four sites of Sevastopol SK.

The coach of the Crimean national team Gennady Sapozhnikov brought to the team of both experienced and young players (Alexander Litvinov, Oleg Melnik, Ilya Donskoy, Vadim Bardin, Yegor Udimachiy, Denis Artemov, Daniil Ostapenko, Andrei Aleksandrov, Alexander Orzhikhovsky, Yevgeny Belousov and Vladimir Semenov). In the course of the tournament, our fellow countrymen demonstrated a competent, spectacular and selfless game, having achieved a positive result, including in matches with teams equipped with professional players.

At the group stage of the competition, the Crimeans prevailed over the national teams of Dagestan (3: 0), the LPR (2: 1) and Adygea (4: 3), taking first place in their group.

In the quarter -finals, inferior to the “mines” from the Zaporizhzhya region (0: 1), the Crimean team thanks to the goals of Ilya Donskoy and Andrei Alexandrov managed to turn the game and achieve victory (2: 1).

In the semifinals, our guys defeated mainly from the players of the IFC «KKB» the national team of the Krasnodar Territory (8: 0).

In the final, the Crimeans met with the Dagestan national team, which was already familiar in the group stage of the competition, which in the quarter -finals turned out to be stronger than rivals from Chechnya (3: 2), and in the semifinals — from Sevastopol (4: 3).

The decisive game turned out to be incredibly tense. Having missed two optional balls in the first half, our fellow countrymen managed to recoup after two distant “shots” of Alexander Litvinov (2: 2). Two minutes before the final whistle, thanks to the Ricochet of the Dagestan national team, it was possible to score, as it turned out later, the decisive goal (3: 2). The desperate assault on the opponent did not bring the desired result to the Crimeans.

The Dagestan team is the winner of the tournament, the Crimean is “silver”. «Bronze» went to the Sevastopol residents.

In addition, under the festival, Armrestling competitions, archery, sambo, sports throwing of a knife, fijtal-basketball and tug of a rope were held.

In the team event, the Crimean national team took fourth place. The first is from Sevastopol.
