The Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Mikhail Degtyarev and the Head of Crimea discussed the development of physical education and sports in the Republic of Crimea

Thus, in 2025, at the expense of budgetary funds in Crimea, physical culture and health complexes were built in the village of Perovo and Dobrovsky rural settlement of the Simferopol region, and a “smart” sports ground in the village of Dobroy. As part of the state program “Sport of Russia”, work continues on the installation of a modular 25-meter swimming pool in the hero city of Kerch. In addition, 12 modular gyms are being built using extra-budgetary funds in 11 municipalities.

Among the projects planned for 2026 are the following: arrangement of four “smart” sports grounds and four GTO sites in cities and regions; construction of a sports and recreation center for rhythmic gymnastics in Feodosia; construction of two modular gyms for martial arts and adaptive sports in Simferopol.

The parties also focused on the operation of a modular health and fitness center in the village of Solnechnaya Dolina, Sudak municipal district, built in 2024 on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

As Mikhail Degtyarev noted, in addition to training halls, the complex has space for holding competitions.

There is a training room for basketball, volleyball, handball, football, tennis, and field hockey. The new sports and recreation center, which appeared on the site of the old building, is equipped with halls for wrestling, training and choreography halls, a large hall for competitions in team sports with stands. The cost of the object was 100 million rubles— recalled the Minister of Sports of Russia.

Mikhail Degtyarev highly appreciated the contribution of the authorities of the republic and Sergei Aksenov personally to the field of physical education and sports, promoting a healthy lifestyle among Crimean residents.

In turn, Sergei Aksyonov expressed gratitude to the President of Russia for his constant assistance in resolving all pressing issues of the residents of the republic.
